Founder's Welcome
Community Involvement Targeting Youth, Inc. or CITY, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)3 youth organization with whom I have been working for 17 years. We are a grassroots effort that has been supporting youth sports, mentoring, tutoring, and performing arts in the underserved areas of Orlando since 2006. Each year, we write grants to garner funds to support from 200 to 1,000 youth athletes including cheerleaders. Also, when possible, we provide financial and administrative assistance for the youth football teams affiliated with the organization.
Several dimensions define the directive of the organization and its intended contributions to improving the lives of children and the families who are served through its efforts. Those dimensions are:

Achieving means ensuring that youth have the right combination of support and opportunity to experience their own individual potential.

Full community life means the opportunity for all youth to actively participate with their family, friends, and other valued relationships in creating a life that are joyful and fulfilled.

CITY Inc. supports youth ages 4-25.

Our Mission
CITY Inc.’s mission is:
Building strong communities through youth development programs in sports, tutoring, mentoring, and performing arts that foster leadership, discipline and competitive skills. Youth will become responsible citizens with positive outlooks and solid interest in contributing to the growth and health of their communities.
Our Vision
In the future, greater community involvement and inclusion, improved services and support, and more prevalent and essential resources will add to the quality of life of members of the community. At the same time, because of population growth and increasing cost of living, the needs of youth and their families will remain extensive and varied. CITY, Inc.'s partnership with our communities will empower youth and their families to demonstrate greater ownership of the resources and decisions that affect their neighborhoods as well as position them to be capable of providing help and support to others in their communities.
